Race Description

Do you want to run off those Easter eggs, support a charity and rack up some bragging rights as you do it?

This spring the University of Leeds and Leeds Metropolitan University will go head-to-head in the Leeds Varsity 10k! We are challenging all students, staff and alumni to get their running shoes on and take on their rival over 10,000 metres! Non-University runners are also very welcome, just pick a uni and do your bit for the team.

The winning University will be decided on the average time of all runners so sign up, help fuel the friendly rivalry and most importantly… make sure your university wins!

The two lap route will start and finish in the fantastic John Charles stadium for sport. This excellent venue has all the facilities to make race day comfortable, including changing rooms, refreshments, showers, lockers and a free safe baggage area. It is ideally located just two miles south of Leeds city centre with ample parking or access by public transport.
