Race Description

The 3rd annual event to honor the legacy of Lauren McCluskey, a student-athlete from Pullman, WA who was tragically murdered on the University of Utah campus on October 22nd 2018. All proceeds will go to the Lauren McCluskey Foundation, which supports campus safety, amateur athletics, and animal welfare.

We’re bringing back the original 5K and Kids’ 1K fun run courses from 2019, and also adding a 10K! All in-person courses start and end at Mary’s Park in Pullman, WA. The 10K continues past the 5K turn-around an additional 2.5 Km before returning along the same course as the 5K. The Kids’ 1K course goes out on the main course .5K and turns around.

Race morning packet pickup: 7:30 – 8:45 AM

10K Race start: 9:00 AM

5K Race start: 9:10 AM

1K Kids’ Race start: 10:00 AM

We will have packet pickup between 3 PM and 7 PM on Friday, Oct 1st, at Birch and Barley.

We’ll also be holding a virtual event with the same distances the week of Sept 25th – Oct 2nd if you’re unable to join us in person.

Teams can be formed for both 5K and 10K events for both live and virtual races — rally your friends and colleagues and compete!

Whether you plan to blaze a sub-6 minute mile, or want to take a more leisurely pace, you’ll get a great workout, and have fun! Please help us celebrate Lauren’s beautiful life, raise awareness about Campus Safety, and support causes that were dear to Lauren.
