Race Description

A new off road running event has been announced for the Lake District by Nova International, the organisers of the Bupa Great North Run and British Gas Great North Swim.

The Karrimor Great Trail Challenge will take place on Sunday 17th June 2012 with 10k, half marathon and marathon distances – all starting and finishing in Keswick.

The route leaves Greta Bank Farm in Keswick, heads out along the old railway footpath, crosses the River Greta at Brundholme and travels up ad around Latrigg Fell.

All runners will receive a Karrimor t-shirt, medal, finisher’s pack and accurate chip timing.
