ARCHIVED RACE: Jimmy’s Ten @ Down Leisure Centre, Downpatrick, Co Down, Northern Ireland on 18 March 2012

Jimmy’s Ten, now in it’s 14th year, will take place this year on Sunday 18 March at 12 noon in Downpatrick. There is also a relay option for teams of 2, and Walkers are welcome too.

Entries limited to 600 runners. Entries will be taken on the day only if this limit has not been reached and then only at an increased fee.

Running number, timing chip and special memento to be collected at the Registration Desks in Down Leisure Centre from 9.30am onwards on the morning of the race.

Please allow plenty of time to get there as traffic congestion is guaranteed on race day in Downpatrick.

After their popular introduction last year the race will again feature Pacers for sub 40, sub 45, sub 48, sub 50, and sub 60 minute target times.
Top prizes of £200, £100 and £50 each for 1st 2nd and 3rd Male and Female finishers plus prizes in all Male and Female age group categories.
Increased Bonus prizes of £100 for new race records in both Male (30.20) and Female (34.17) categories and special awards to commemorate the Club’s 25th Anniversary.

Every finisher will be entered in a draw for a travel voucher to the value of £700 and to qualify for the prize, the owner of the number drawn must be present at the prize giving in Down Leisure Centre.

Refreshments for all competitors in Down Leisure Centre afterwards.

As it’s Mother’s Day a special acknowledgement for all mothers taking part will be made.
