Race Description

This popular early season race follows a flat and scenic route through the historic Highland capital of Inverness alongside the picturesque River Ness and taking in many of the city’s icons. A warm Highland welcome awaits all runners as they approach the finish line.

A record 2940 runners took part in the 2020 Inverness Half Marathon with entry selling out early so sign up NOW!

Many runners and spectators, choose to stay longer – a huge attraction of the Inverness Half Marathon is the area’s natural beauty and wealth of attractions. The area is steeped in history, home to castles, misty mountains and, of course, the Loch Ness Monster.
