The IceMan is a no-holds-barred off-road Trail Running event taking place at the Army Training Ground in Frimley, Surrey. Frimley is the perfect place for getting off the tarmac and into the great unknown. Especially if you like mud, dirt and hills! The location is primarily used for training tough Army types in how to deal with challenging conditions and Human Race have been granted special access to put on the IceMan there. So don’t delay, get in quick and experience the thrill of off-road racing at its best. The off-road 11km or 16km trail runs will take you over rocky, hilly terrain with technical sections and some fast downward slopes for those with nerves of steel. The first loop takes in some wide fire tracks and mossy forest trails before the second loop heads up multiple repeats of one of the steepest ridges in the area. Needless to say that in 2013 anyone who didn’t save something for the latter stages did more trail-walking than trail-running!
