Race Description

The course is a mirror image from the start to the turn point (5km) and back to the finish. Outward leg is marked with green arrows and return leg with yellow arrows.

The run starts opposite Hoylake Community Centre, along the sea front North parade promenade (with majestic views), dropping onto the Meols embankment for a short distance, joining the ranger’s trail and through the gates, through the car park by Leasowe Lighthouse (drink station) and back onto the embankment towards Leasowe Castle Hotel. At the 5k marker, runners then return back along the same route. The course is reasonably flat with markers at every Km. Radio contact stewards are positioned along the route.
