Race Description

Join us for this year’s HERo Run 5K/10K and Kids’ Fun Run on June 11, 2022, in Warwick, NY, honoring hometown HERoes everywhere!

Another year of #EmbracingtheSuck, but this year we are back in person! As always, there is a virtual option, so you can still participate even if you can’t join the fun in Warwick. Participants can run or walk the beautiful USATF-certified 5K or 10K courses in Warwick, or plot their own course and share the results. Join with family or friends and help us celebrate the life and memory of our HERo and Warwick, NY, native, US Army LTC Jaimie Leonard, who was killed in Afghanistan on June 8, 2013. This annual event enables HERoes in Deed to continue to provide scholarships to Warwick HS students, support military and Veteran programs, and honor Hometown HERoes.

All participants receive a race t-shirt and the first 300 to register get a commemorative challenge coin. Virtual participants register by April 1st to ensure you’ll have your shirt in time for this event!
