Race Description

#BeNiceToYourNoggin and go jogging…

Local mental health charity, Havering Mind, is delighted to be organising this super popular Half Marathon once again with the popular 10K course returning after a successful first outing!

The Havering Half Marathon and 10K is there for runners, joggers, and walkers of all abilities. With Southend Road closed to traffic, you’ll have it all to yourself (and your fellow noggins) as you fly South to enjoy Ingrebourne Hill Park’s grassy tracks. From there you’ll explore the gravel paths of Hornchurch Country Park and the pretty suburban streets of Upminster, before winding back along woodland trails next to the River Ingrebourne. With such interesting and varied surroundings, you’ll find yourself crossing the finish line before you know it!

This event really does have something for everyone and, what’s more, while you’re out there getting it done, you’ll be supporting the noggins of Havering too!

So, what are you waiting for? Get active, get outdoors, and go jogging for your noggin!

Developed in partnership with Havering Council, the #BeNicetoYourNoggin campaign aims to spread awareness of the support available in the community and how it can be accessed.

The coronavirus pandemic has been incredibly tough for everyone and has had a huge impact on our mental health. Money raised through entries will help Havering Mind to support local people cope with the thoughts, feelings, and issues they are facing.
