Race Description

A 9 mile multi-terrain handicap race run on an “out and return” course on an old canal cycle track and woodland tracks around Haughmond Hill providing spectacular views of Shrewsbury and surrounding Shropshire and Welsh hills.
Slower runners are set off first at intervals based on their anticipated race times provided on the entry forms. The handicapping should mean that everyone finishes at roughly the same time providing lots of fun in the finishing straight !
The Sundorne Sports Village offers great facilities for both runners and spectators.
