Race Description

The Hastings Half Marathon has been voted many times the Best Half Marathon in the UK. Organised by the Hastings Lions Club, it will be holding its 29th event on Sunday 24th March 2013.

The undulating event, starts from near where William the Conqueror landed in 1066, before his Battle with King Harold, and completely circumnavigates the historic town of Hastings. It has fantastic crowd support and atmosphere. The event is for all abilities, and is very good preparation for the London Marathon a month later. An event not to be missed.

Mini Run

For young runners between 11 and 16 years. A flat 2.5km (approx) course along the seafront starting 200 meters west of hastings Pier and finishing at the Half Marathon finish area. Medals for all finishers and trophies for the first three boys and girls in three age categories. School team awards (a team of four to qualify).
