Race Description

An established race in the local running calendar this event has traditionally taken place in the Autumn. Described as one of the toughest short course races in the Capital the race starts and finishes in the scenic playing fields of Harrow School. The course is an undulating 6 mile road race which encompasses 1 and 3/4 circuits of Harrow Hill incorporating two ascents of 120m (400ft).

There is a unique King and Queen of the Hill award given to the first Man and Women to reach the top of Football Lane but to qualify you have to finish the race! There are prizes for the usual age categories.

The race is held under UK Athletic Rules, it is certified course (SEAA 97/98) and a race licence has been applied for. There is a strict limit of 250.

It is a fully marshalled route with parking (limited) and toilets available. Entry fees are £8.50 (attached) & £10.50 (unattached). £15 on the day (if the limit is not reached).
