Race Description

Please join us for the Inaugural Hanger Clinic 5K Run/Walk for Limb Loss. There are nearly 2 million people living with limb loss in the US. The main causes are vascular disease and diabetes (54%), trauma (45%), and cancer (less than 2%). There are 185,000 amputations a year, 507 per day, and 21 every hour. An additional 28 million people are at risk.

Prosthetic care for individuals with limb loss is expensive, and sometimes not covered by insurance. Help us raise awareness and much needed dollars to provide prosthetic care for individuals with limb loss in Minnesota.
