It was a great event although the weather was grim. Thanks to the marshalls, organisers, volunteers who despite awful weather conditions were supportive, cheerful and encouraging.

I ran this race today in disgusting weather conditions on the hardest course I have ever ran on, it was hilly, raining non stop flooding in places and windy. I cannot speak highly enough of the organisers of this race and possibly praise more highly of the scores of volunteers who marshalled and stood in the wind and rain offering encouragement to all many thanks to you all, your commitment makes this race a great event.

    • It must have been awful out there today! I didn’t even manage a training run, so top marks to those of you who took part and those who organised this event – hopefully next time is more pleasant!
