Race Description

Route runs through Southeast section of Paris, Arkansas. You will pass small homes, pasture land, hospital and small creek. There are three categories, Runner, Walker, and Wheelchair.Runners may run or walk the route, Walkers must walk the entire route, Wheelchairs must be under the power of the person in the chair.

Medals are given to the first three finishers in each category and age group. This year throphies rather than plaques will be awarded to the top male and female finsher and the top male and female senior.

After the race, drawings will be held while results are calculated

On-line entry closes at 10:00 p.m. on June 22, 2012. However, you may register up to 45 minutes prior to the race.

The proceeds of the Guardian Angel 5K go to the North Logan County Christmas Guardian Angel Program. The program is designed to help needy and at-risk children in the communities of North Logan County, have Christmas. This is accomplished by taking the children shopping for the the gift of their choice. Each child is accompanied by a “Guardian Angel” who helps the child make age appropriate choices and makes the child feels special even if for a short time. The shinning faces of all children, Parents-Guardians, and Volunteers tell us that the Guardian Angel Program is right for us.
