Start and Finish at Atwater Brewery!

Experience one of Detroit’s favorite fall races at the 13th Annual Growler Gallop Atwater 10 Mile & 5K on September 27, 2026. This race brings together the energy of downtown Detroit, the beauty of the Detroit Riverwalk and Belle Isle, and the unbeatable atmosphere of finishing at Atwater Brewery with friends, family, and the running community.

Whether you’re chasing a PR on the USATF-certified 10 Mile, running your first Detroit 5K, or walking with a stroller, Growler Gallop offers a course and celebration for everyone. The 10 Mile delivers fast, scenic miles along the Riverwalk and around Belle Isle, while the flat 5K follows the Riverwalk with a turnaround before the Belle Isle Bridge.

Participants receive chip timing, race-day photography, a post-race beer (21+), and—depending on registration level—a hoodie and medal that form part of the Trivium Michigan Mega Medal Series. Economy pricing is also available. Don’t miss this Detroit tradition!
