Race Description
The Great North run is one of the oldest and most popular road races for fun and elite athletes alike.
Run around the iconic Newcastle / Gateshead course, the Great North Run is a half marathon of approximately 13 miles.
The race starts at the A167 Central Motorway near Exhibition Park.
It will be televised live on BBC one TV and Radio 5Live.
