Race Description

Rooted in the belief that an active lifestyle and healthy living are important at any age, the Getaway 5K/10K/15K is an officially timed race, yet still a fun run (or walk) for everyone. From first-timers to seasoned runners, toddlers to the 50+, friends’ weekend to family reunion, there are events for all levels and ages.

All courses will have the same start and finish line in Albert Whitted Park! The courses run along Tampa Bay with beautiful views of the water with Tampa in the distance. More course specific details and maps to come!

We know runners really enjoy their SWAG. Each year, we try to WOW our participants with our race premium and medal. It’s nice to have a perfect addition to your collection! We hit a home run with our 1/4 zip jacket and runners can be seen wearing them proudly around town and at event expos throughout the year. This is always a goal of ours in hopes that the participants will show their pride in conquering the Getaway!
