Race Description

Thank you for visiting the the 2013 Rochester Get Your Rear in Gear 5K Run/Walk event page.
We are sisters, brothers, mothers, fathers and friends who have been affected by colon cancer and want to do something. Some of us are colon cancer survivors while others are those who work to honor those lost to this disease. We are a coalition that has formed 5K’s and other events in cities across the country, working together with health care providers, corporations and the media, to encourage people to “Get Your Rear in Gear” and talk about colon cancer with their doctor, their loved ones and everyone they know. Together, we will positively impact this disease.
Last year, close to 300 participated in the 4th annual Rochester Get Your Rear in Gear.

Date: June 22, 2013
Registration: 7-9 a.m.
5K Timed Run: 9 a.m.
5K Walk: 9:05 a.m.
Kids’ Fun Run: 8:30 a.m.

Race Route Location:
East Silver Lake Park
1201 East Silver Lake Dr NE, Rochester, MN 55906

The route starts and finishes just behind the Eastside pavilion at Silver Lake.

Registration Fees
Pre-Registration (before June 14):
5k Run/Walk: $25
Kids’ Fun Run: $12

At Packet Pick-up or on Race Day:
5K Run/Walk: $30
Kids’ Fun Run: $15
