ARCHIVED RACE: Get It Dunn Run @ 14th Ave. E, Menomonie, WI, United States on 18 May 2013

2nd Annual Get It Dunn Run in Menomonie, WI on Saturday May 18th, 2013. This is a 5K and 1/2 marathon. Chip Timing. Last year we had 425 competitors from 11 different states/territories of all levels in our 1st race. All 1/2 marathon finishers recieve a participation medal. All participants in both races recieve a wicking race shirt. Top finishers in all divisions in both races recieve prizes. Largest group registered also recieves a prize. Strollers welcome for the 5K. The half marathon covers the countryside on the outskirts of Menomonie. Early part of the race challenges runners with some hills but finishes late with a run on a flat bike trail that follows the Red Cedar River. The 5K stays mostly in Menomonie, but travels around town and includes some great scenery along the river. Both races finish downtown Menomonie and is followed by a post-race celebration in the Burger King parking lot. We also offer registration on Friday as part of our Pre-Race expo that offers businesses to give racers product samples and health information. This is a charity race that raises money for Mind Over Matter (M.O.M.) Inc.’s Local and National Scholarships, along with M.O.M. care packages for families dealing with cancer.
