Race Description

RRCA sanctioned event; electronically chip timed separate flat 10K and 5K courses. Online registration fees $35 adults, $30 students, $5 kids’ race through Sept. 18, $40/$35 adult and student onsite registration day of race. Fee includes chip timing, parking, refreshments, prize drawings following the race, and event tee shirt (guaranteed through Sept 1 registration only; shirt not available day of race).

10k runners and 5k walkers start time 9:00 am; 5K runners start 9:15 am. Registration at https://runsignup.com/Race/OR/ForestGrove/ForestGroveLionsClubRunWalkforSight.

Forest Grove Lions partner with Pacific University College of Optometry to support its students and staff in improving eyesight of many vision-impaired adults and children in western Washington County and developing countries. 100% of monies raised by this event are returned to the community to fund scholarships, purchase vision clinic equipment and assist the Pacific University AMIGOS program of volunteer optometric services. Participating in this event helps serve our neighbors in need in Forest Grove and beyond.
