Erica’s Wish is a 5k, 10k and 1k fun run/walk to support children with Cancer. Erica’s Wish uses the funds raised to make blankets for the children admitted to Oncology at SickKids Hospital. Each child upon admission will get a blanket to comfort them through their tests and treatments. Erica’s Wish began when a young girl, Erica, was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma. The same cancer as Terry Fox. After several rounds of chemo and a modified leg amputation, Erica at the tender age of 12 asked that for her 13th birthday we make a race to raise awareness of childhood cancer. We are in our forth year and growing strong! Erica is in remission and participates in the event each year to show children and adults what determination can do!
