ARCHIVED RACE: Ely Festive 5K @ Market Place, Ely, Cambridgeshire, United Kingdom on 25 November 2012

The Arthur Rank Hospice Charity would like to welcome walkers and runners alike to participate in a 5km festive fun run through the historic City of Ely. The race, open to all ages, will begin at 11am from the Ely Market Square. There will be a raffle draw and prizes awarded to lucky participants who wish to enter. Fancy dress is optional, and encouraged! You can walk, jog or run the route, it’s up to you!

The Arthur Rank House is dedicated to providing specialist palliative care and support to adult patients and their family, friends and carers. All care is provided free of charge, and is offered to people living throughout much of Cambridgeshire. The aim is to enable patients and those close to them to live as fully as possible, and make the most of the time that’s left.

The Arthur Rank Hospice Charity works in partnership with the NHS to support the hospice. This year the Charity is committed to raising £1.3 million, and is solely responsible for funding the Day Hospice and Hospice at Home service.

Can we count you in?

The entry fee is £10 for adults and £7 for children (under 16). This fee is non-refundable and covers all expenses invoiced in administering your place. It also pays for your Santa hat, medal and a bottle of water. Please visit http://arhc.org.uk/ely-festive-run.asp for more information.

What happens next?

Upon receipt of your entry form and fee we will issue a letter of confirmation, full joining instructions and a sponsorship form. Your place is not confirmed until you receive this.

Places are non-transferable, so if you are unable to take part for any reason, you must inform us as soon as possible and return your sponsorship form, even if it has no sponsorship entries.

Please note: your Santa hat will be available for collection on the day of the event.

Cheques should be made payable to
‘Arthur Rank Hospice Charity’ and returned to Ely Festive 5K, Arthur Rank Hospice Charity, 351 Mill Road, Cambridge CB1 3DF. Alternatively, registrations can be made online at www.arhc.org.uk or handed into Archer & Archer House.

All participants are responsible for their own medical conditions. If in doubt about your ability to take part in the Ely Festive 5K, please consult your doctor in advance. Please also let us know if you have any conditions we need to be aware of for reference purposes.

By registering for Ely Festive 5K you give permission for Arthur Rank Hospice Charity to use your name and photo in any publicity materials that might be produced, unless written objection is received by the organisers.
