Race Description

An ideal mid-week run usually attracts about 100 runners. The race is run on road,track and through fields, approximately 5 miles lomg a challenging and enjoyable race. Run from the Elmtree Inn Elmton near Clowne starting at 7.30pm. Plenty of car parking and food at the pub. plenty of prizes in all categories and Mens and Womens team prizes. £5 entry on the night. 10 minutes from Junction 30 on the M1

    Congratulations to the winners of the 2013 Elmton Chase: Chris Shelton of North Derbyshire RC, who finished in 26.08, and Louise Lowe of Clowne RR, who completed the course in 32.47!

    A great mid-week race just under 5 miles. Starting and finishing at the Elmtree Pub where you can have some good old fashioned real ale black sheep went down well. £5 to run and lots of prizes if you are a billy wiz in your age group.Great night out well worth the trip and very well organised
