Race Description

For the past 8 years the University of Nottingham Athletics Club has hosted the Ed Prickett Memorial Relays. This is held in memory of a valued member of our athletics club who was tragically killed in 2002 whilst on his way to compete at the BUSA championships. The annual relays are held in order to remember Ed Prickett and to also raise funds for a charity called the Ron Pickering Memorial fund. This is a charity Ed Prickett benefitted from, which provides grants for track and field athletes that are in education and may be in need of financial help towards training or provision of equipment.

The race is a well established fixture in the University race calendar and always attracts a lot of runners from both local and university clubs across the UK

The course is a 2 mile loop around the magnificent University park, with 4 legs for men and 3 for women
