Race Description

The Northfield Area Foundation (NAF) is pleased to sponsor this year’s DJJD 5K Run/Walk and the 15K Run. The race will start near the registration area and finish at the Northfield Historical Society Building (408 Division St.). This building is the original First National Bank of Northfield and the site of the infamous attempted bank robbery by the notorious James-Younger Gang in 1876. Both courses are USAT&F certified and are run completely on paved roads (5K – MM10040RR; 15K – MM10039RR). The 5K is a moderate layout while the 15K is more challenging. The “ChampionChip” computerized timing system will be used for both the 5K & 15 events
