Race Description

The Death by 5k is a unique 24-hour challenge where entrants run ten 5k loops starting every 2.5 hours. Each participant must complete their run before the next begins, demanding both mental and physical endurance. The race takes place in Tyler State Park, featuring rugged dirt trails with rocks, roots, and potentially muddy conditions, requiring headlamps for nighttime running.

Participants can rest between runs in their cars or set up tents in the designated camping area, which also serves as the race’s hub.
