Race Description

This flat, challenging and scenic race, run mainly on sand, leads runners through 2 counties & 2 rivers and is the only race in the world to cross a tidal bay. Runners arrive and park at Hest Bank to be transported by coach to the race start at Flookburgh, Cumbria (journey takes approx. 1 hour). The race then crosses the sands of Morecambe Bay, finishing at Hest Bank, Lancashire where runners have parked their cars.
