Race Description

This event is a tribute to Colleen Mitchel, who grew up in Kensington, MD and attended Grace Episcopal Day School and WJ High School. Colleen was born with biliary atresia (BA) and died at 19 years old due to liver disease, while awaiting a liver transplant. Colleen was a sophomore at the University of Michigan. As a tribute to Colleen, and to raise awareness of the need for organ donors, her family has organized this community fundraiser. Proceeds go to Johns Hopkins Pediatric Liver Center in Baltimore, MD.
