Race Description

Run/Walk in memory of Colleen Mitchel, who attended Grace Episcopal Day School in Kensington and WJ High School in Bethesda. She was born with liver disease, and died in 2013 at 19 years of age, while awaiting a liver transplant. Colleen was a sophomore at the University of Michigan. As a tribute to Colleen, and to raise awareness of the need for organ donors, her family has organized this annual fundraiser. Proceeds go to the Johns Hopkins Pediatric Liver Center in Baltimore.
