Race Description

The run is in memory of Chris Patterson, a highly respected student advisor at Chattahoochee Valley Community College (CVCC) who died of H1N1 in 2009. He loved running and costume parties so this race emphasizes both. Costumes are optional but highly recommended. The race is located on the CVCC campus and all proceeds go to the Chris Patterson Student Support Fund which helps CVCC students deal with financial complications that are not covered by traditional financial aid sources. This is a “Track or Treat” race: you can run the race or you can “Treat” the Student Support Fund

There is a children’s race at 9 AM and the 5K at 9:30. Dogs on leashes are welcome. Prizes for first, second and third for both men an women and prizes for best costume (including dogs).
