It’s All About The Chocolate and supporting Families Helping Families of Southeast Louisiana!

Families Helping Families of Southeast Louisiana (FHF of SELA) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit resource center for individuals with disabilities and their families. At FHF of SELA, all of their employees are parents or siblings of someone with a disability or are an individual with a disability themselves. They believe that because of their compassion and empathetic staff, they provide the best possible support, resources and programming for people with disabilities and their families. Families Helping Families of Southeast Louisiana envisions a region where people with disabilities live and are fully included in school, work and recreational activities. Our mission is to educate and empower individuals with disabilities, their families, professionals and communities by providing resources, training and family-to-family support.

Families Helping Families of Southeast Louisiana offers three, free core services: information and referral, education and training, and peer-to-peer support. These workshops and trainings include transition, Individualized Education Plans (IEP), 504Plans, school and family partnerships, healthcare, advocacy, employment and more.

All chocolate is compliments of NR Road Racing. It’s not mandatory for you take part, but you are more than welcome to have some sweet treats on us! There will be chocolate stations set up along the three mile course and of course, some more at the end!

We’ll supply the Ghirardelli® chocolates along the way. We’ve also found what may be a blast from the past for some of you… Remember Choc-ola? Well it’s back and we have it for you
