Race Description

The Cheddar Gorge Challenge races are amongst the most scenic events in the country! With a start and finish located right on the gorge edge you are in for some beautiful running. There is mixture of open fields, woodland running and rock paths making this a great all round off road challenge.

The trails have one or two climbs, most notably the Hell Steps, a little longer than they might first appear. But from there you will experience breath taking cliff top and a wide variety of terrains as your run across the Mendip Hills.

There are large custom medals, refreshments awaiting the runners at the finish line!
