Race Description

This is the most northerly Marathon on the UK mainland. It involves a ferry crossing at the 22 mile stage. The marathon is the conclusion of a week of running events. It starts with the Loch Eriboll Half Marathon on the Monday, a five mile Hill Run on Tuesday, a nine mile round Durness all terrain run on Wednesday, a three mile Beach run on the stunning Balnakiel Beach on Thursday, day off Friday and the Cape Wrath Marathon on the Saturday. There are shorter run alternatives each day, including team relays in the marathon for two, three, four and five person teams. Also during the week there is a full Social Calender from the famous pub quiz, to Scottish Dancing, walks, and team activities to stretch the mind.
