Race Description

The Cannon Hall Run is back, bigger and better than before! After the success of last year, we have re designed the route to take advantage of the stunning surroundings at Cannon Hall.

The new route is now a ‘loop’ which starts and finishes at Cannon Hall – no more waiting for buses at the end of this tiring 10k, you will be able to relax and enjoy being greeted by your friends and family. As well as this, you will now be able to park at Cannon Hall, and leave at your own leisure.

The run will head down the main path before cutting along the field in front of the river. After running over the bridge and out of the park runners will run onto The Park before turning left onto Taylor Hill. Runners them progress through Cawthorne along Hill Top and Darton Road before heading towards Darton along Cawthorne Lane. At the junction runners will turn left along Upper Field Lane for approximately 2 miles before bearing left down High Hoyland Lane back towards Cannon Hall.

Runners will run to the bottom of the road before turning left directly up the access road to Cannon Hall and the finish line.

Marshalls we be on hand throughout and will be at key junctions around the course to ensure all runners follow the correct route.
