Race Description

10 miles and 1700′ of ascent over the beautiful Pennine backbone from Diggle in Saddleworth to Marsden and return via a variety of paths and tracks. Although classed as a fell race, this is more of a trail race, an ideal introduction to off-road running. Full body is required as the route is very exposed on the moors.

We ask all competitors to enter a cake into our Cake competition. Cakes are judged on best decorated and best tasing with junior entries welcome too. At the end all the cakes are eaten by the runners.
