Race Description

Founded in 2008 by Katie Brown, who lost her father to lung cancer, this walk is the first in the Dallas/Fort Worth area to raise awareness of lung cancer and funding for lung cancer research. Now taking the lead are Haley Cox, our former Breathe Deep Baton Rouge coordinator, and Monica Channabasappa who have both been personally impacted by lung cancer.

Held at the Legacy Pavillion at River Legacy Park, the course is stroller, wheelchair, bicycle, and pet friendly (please clean up after pets).
