Race Description

2017 will be the 2nd Bolton Community Half marathon and not one to miss, Last years race was a great success with thousands of people turning out to give their support.
The half marathon is hopefully a lead up to the Bolton Community Full Marathon in the future The Bolton Marathon started in 1981 and was one of the first and largest marathons in the country…….so lets try and get it back on the map
1/ A fully/partial road closed event on wide, open roads with superb marshals all along the route.
2/ Drink stations along the route
3/ Brought to you by the organising team behind Race the Train – Bury to Rawtenstall
4/ The on-course support will be outstanding – we have great links with the communities on the route and they know how to support runners.
5/ Race Starts and Finishes on the famous Le Mans Crescent, Bolton
