Race Description
Bewl 15 is a multi-terrain, scenic single circuit of the beautiful Bewl Water straddling the borders of east Sussex and Kent.
The race is a full 15 miles following the official route around the largest reservoir in the South-east, using tracks, trails. path-ways and roads. The route is undulating with hills at miles 11, 12 and 14.
A special bespoke medal, goody bag, free cakes and sports drink to all finishers. Spot prizes available and you will be greeted by the Wadhurst Brass Band and free beer adds to the party atmosphere.Trophies to every class of competitor to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd finishers for junior, senior and vet males and ladies and for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd finishers of every age group vets 1 to 9.
Free children’s entertainment is on offer from the start until the awards presentation at the Greyhound Hotel and Public House and in the HQ at Uplands Sports Centre next door. Free entertainment includes Clown, (Tai)Chi for Children and Adults, Face-Painting, supervised covered Sports area, Bouncy castle and a separate Toddlers and Tots play area are all available.
The Queen’s Jubillee will be celebrated with free Union flags and memorabilia to the children.
