Race Description

52k ultramarathon run over the flowing single track of the Wharfdale, followed by some fast flat farm tracks and valley road. Passing by two fully stocked feed stations offering numerous snack options, followed by a challenging climb up the back of Mt Richardson. Then comes the undulating single track decending down the Blowhard trail while encompassing majestic views of the Canterbury Plains. The race is for all runners, experienced and new to the distance. A generous cut off time of 10hrs makes it an achieveable event. A must do on the New Zealand ultra running calendar.
