Race Description

Normally staged out of the San Leandro Marina Park, this year the park will be under construction and unavailable. So…road trip! We’re just moving down the road a little to the similarly flat trails of Quarry Lakes in Fremont. “Lake Breeze”? “Bay to Lakers”? Whatever you want to call it, the race is on! All races begin and end at Quarry Lakes Regional Recreation Area, with the 10K and half marathon races going out along the Alameda Creek Trail. Trails are primarily fire trail/gravel (as shown in the picture below) with short paved sections. There are a couple very small rises in the trail, but no serious climbs to contend with!
