Race Description

Autism Speaks 12th Annual 5K Run-1 Mile Walk will take place on Wednesday, July 4, 2012 in Potomac, Maryland!

The Centers for Disease Control report that 1 in 88 children (1 in 54 boys) are on the autism spectrum. With numbers like these, autism is EVERYONE’S cause.

For the past ten years, the generous support of our sponsors, donors and participants made this event tremendously successful, contributing over $2.5 million to Autism Speaks. This event attracts both competitive runners and families with children of all ages, and is a wonderful start to Independence Day.
