Race Description
Full and half marathon, 10K and 5K presented by Northrop Grumman, USAA and Boeing. Start and finish at the National Museum of the United States Air Force in Dayton, OH. Enjoy aircraft flyovers and medals presented by senior Air Force leadership. 2012 medalsl and runners’ shirts feature the B-2 Spirit stealth bomber. Full, half and 10K take place Saturday morning and run through Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. The 5K hosted by Wright State University takes place Friday night, Sept. 14, at the University’s Nutter Center.

Congratulations to the winners – Brian Dumm, who finished in 2:28:58, and Heidi Hamilton, who finished in 3:01:09!
I was one of the elite runners and along with the rest of the elite runners we were told by vounteers to turn here which was the wrong way. We ended up running extra miles. My garmin showed that I ran 14.7 miles. I didn’t mind the extra miles but I did mind that it but me 3rd in my age group. Along with the other elite runners we would like for something to be done about this.
