Race Description

The Acorns Triple Run is a running event designed to appeal to all ages, levels of fitness and sporting ability. It consists of three courses – the 1km Chicken Run, the 5km Spring Run and the Malvern Half Marathon. All three courses start and end at the same place allowing friends and family, both young and old, to participate together!

The Chicken Run (inspired by Aardman Animations) is a unique 1km, hard standing, outdoor course suitable for both wheelchair and ambulant competitors. The course is designed to cater for children and adults with special needs. Entrants may be self-propelled, walk, run or be pushed around the course. Event start time is 10.30am.
This wheelchair friendly outdoor course finishes under the same finish arch as the 5km Spring Fun Run and Malvern Half Marathon. The Chicken Run provides an ideal opportunity for all the family to take part together. It’s often the case that siblings of children taking part in the Chicken Run have run in the 5km Spring Run – a great way to celebrate the achievements of everyone taking part together!

The course is well marshaled and Chicken Runners can make use of specialist facilities in the Chicken Hut!
