ARCHIVED RACE: 9th Annual Movin and Groovin 5k @ Dorey Park, 2999 Darbytown Road, Henrico, Virginia, United States on 25 August 2012

We invite you to participant in our ninth annual “Movin and Groovin 5k” event presented by Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield. This 5K run and 2-mile walk for pancreatic cancer will take place on Saturday, August 25, 2012, at Dorey Park in Richmond, Virginia. The purpose of our event is to raise awareness and funds for the fight against pancreatic cancer.
Register online at www.raceit.com or mail entry form provided on www.movinandgroovin5k.org website with payment to: Movin’ & Groovin’ 5K c/o Mike Levins, 3811 Custis Road, Richmond, VA 23225. The day included a free kids’ fun run, as well as entertainment by DJ Luke Gipson, Sheri the Clown, Music by Haze & the Transients and juggler Jonathan Austin.

Top three male and female overall finishers, top male and female masters division, and top three finishers in each male and female age divisions. Age divisions: 14-under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49,50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69 and 70 and over.Participants registered for the 5K Run and 2 Mile Walk by Aug. 10 are guaranteed a t-shirt. For an additional $20 fee until Aug. 10, t-shirts can be upgraded to a technical shirt(replaces t-shirt). Door prizes will be awarded following the race.
