Race Description

The Run For The Prize 5K (3.1 mi) Race/Walk over smooth roads through the scenic, serene, picturesque Landen Lake area will take place on June 6, 2010 at 8 a.m. with Race Day registration ending at 7:45 a.m. Race begins and ends at Abiding Word Lutheran Church. Race timer, RunningTime.net, calls it “a REALLY GREAT COURSE.” Course is professionally measured and timed. FREE Little Tykes Dash conducted following the main race. 12 Runners Age Brackets and 5 Walker Age Brackets. Gift Certificates awarded to top Overall Finishers among Runners & Walkers. PROCEEDS ARE DONATED TO THE AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY with matching funds from Thrivent Financial. Registration & Map of the course are available online through online link at www.abidingword.com or phone 513-677-9357. $17 in advance includes T-shirt, $20 on Race Day with T-shirts limited to availability. Additional parking in Kroger parking lot across Landen Dr.
