Race Description

5th Annual GEMS 5K is a unique race, because it starts after 2 Ultra Dads finish their 24 Hour Track Trek, all to raise money for the local Middle School. In years past the dads have run 110, 120,123 and 125 miles and are going for 130 miles in 24 hours this year! All race participants are welcome to cheer these Dads on in their final laps around the HS track and then get ready to run their own 3.1. All proceeds of this race go to Glen Edwards Middle School to support the sports, music, art and other programs. The course is USATF certified and is flat and fast as it winds through the quaint town of Lincoln, CA. Kids 1/4 mile fun run and pancake breakfast are a part of the event as well.

8:15 Tony and Jeffery Ultra Dads finish
8:30am Free Kids Fun Run starts
9:00am Start of 5K
7:00-11:00am Pancake breakfast (add’t cost)
