47th Annual Big Bird Run – 10K, 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run @ Roseville Recreation Center, 18185 Sycamore Street, Roseville, Michigan, United States on 09 November 2025

Register now for the 47th Annual Big Bird Run, a 10K, 5K, and 1 Mile Fun Run on Sunday, November 19, 2025. This is a family-fun event that provides funding to many community service organizations. Entry fee is $25 for the Mile Run; $35 for the 5K; $40 for the 10K by 4pm November 7. Add $5 on race day. Registration includes age division awards (donated by Petitpren Distributors, Inc.), the exclusive long-sleeve Big Bird Run shirt, gloves and many raffle prizes and refreshments.

The Big Bird Run 10K is a fast course that includes Gratiot Ave., the I-696 pedestrian bridge and several residential streets. The 10K course is certified by the USTFA. Hanson’s Running Shops will provide gloves for all runners and raffle prizes. Petitpren Distributors, Inc. will provide prizes for the age division winners in the 10K and 5K races as well as unique raffle prizes. All Big Bird Run participants will receive medals and have a chance to win one of 20 frozen turkeys. Other giveaways will include bagels, compliments of Sam’s Club, bottled water, and fruit for runners, compliments of Joe Randazzo’s Fruit and Vegetables

Proceeds from the Big Bird Run are given to the local community service organizations that assist local families and students in need. The organizations that provide volunteers for the run include: Roseville Optimists Club, A.S.P.I.R.E., Lions Club, the East Detroit High School and Roseville High School Band Boosters and Live Rite.

Michigan Runner Magazine will be videotaping the Big Bird Run for their website at www.michiganrunner.tv.
