Race Description

The Auburn High School Health Science Academy is hosting a 5K run/walk featuring ZOMBIES!!!!!
Take advantage of the beautiful fall scenery as you run along a 2.5 or 5 km loop at Anna Page Park, 2800 N Springfield Ave, Rockford, IL 61101..
There is a catch, however, as the park is overrun with ZOMBIES who were freshly infected with the Knightmare virus!!!
Runners will be given a belt with three flags which symbolize their life as they make their way through the course. Zombies, with special effects make-up courtesy of the Creative and Performing Arts Academy at Auburn High School, will be roaming throughout the park trying to snatch flags away from participants.
Appropriate for all ages and skill levels!
Proceeds benefit the Health Sciences Academy at Auburn High School and is the culmination of the Health Science Academy cross curricular project about outbreaks.
