Race Description

Welcome to the 2nd Annual Forgotten5k Events, sponsored by Presbyterian Senior Living. Come join us on the grounds of West Shore Evangelical Free Church in Mechanicsburg, PA! Walk or run in the Forgotten5k and/or the 1 Mile Mosey. Do either while wearing a costume and you are eligible to win an iPad!

The Forgotten5k features a nice course and awesome awards – hand crafted animal statuary from Zimbabwe – to the top 3 overall and divisional winners, male and female.

The 1 Mile Mosey is great for families and the course is stroller friendly. With the new scheduling this years participants in the Forgotten5k can also participate in the 1 Mile Mosey (and do it for free)!

If you participate in the 1 Mile Mosey or the Forgotten5k and wear a costume while doing it you are eligible to win an iPad – selected by random drawing of eligible participants. See official rules.

All net proceeds from the Forgotten5K Events goes to Forgotten Voices, International in support of the great work they do to help children in Africa who were orphaned by AIDS. The Forgotten5k Events are run entirely by volunteers. Most of the supplies and the use of the facility at WSEFC are donated.
